Balsamic Strawberry and Creme Cake with Macarons

With fresh strawberries in the buttercream, it really added more flavour compared to a flavouring, and the hint of balsamic vinegar, an unlikely pair with the strawberries increases the flavour. The strawberries and balsamic also contrasted against the sweetness of the macaron shells and cake. The cake is a vanilla sponge, nothing fancy and the macarons are the standard almond flavour but it needs to be plain to work with the buttercream.
